December 16, 2014
Williamstown, NJ - December 16, 2014: COPS Monitoring, the largest independently owned wholesale monitoring provider in the United States and well-known for delivering high quality service, promotes Melissa Hansen to Director of Training.
From her start as a dispatcher 19 years ago, Melissa has continually proven to be instrumental in various positions such as floor supervisor, shift manager, and training manager. As Director of Training, Melissa will oversee the entire spectrum of COPS' training program across its six central stations including: initial training of new employees, CSAA Five Diamond certification, its rigorous proprietary "up-or-out" training program for dispatchers (called Gradation), customer service and disaster preparedness instruction, and coaching of central station managers.
"What we do is extremely important and a properly trained dispatcher can help prevent a significant loss to a customer and even make the difference between life and death," says Melissa. "We run a tight ship, and our dealers and their customers are relying on our dispatchers to be their lifeline day in and day out." Melissa has proven her consistent determination to institutionalize excellence, which is intrinsic in COPS Monitoring's philosophy to ensure it properly serves its customers and remains a leader in the alarm industry.
