COPS Monitoring specializes in many types of alarm monitoring and delivers professional service with industry-leading response times. We operate FIVE strategically located hot-redundant and load sharing hometown central stations in New Jersey, Florida, Arizona, Tennessee, and Texas. If local conditions affect one of our locations, we continue to deliver fast and professional service by overstaffing our other load-sharing centers. We also operate a sixth central station in Maryland that currently operates autonomously. Read more at "Why you should choose COPS Monitoring".
Monitoring your accounts requires precision delivered by professional dispatchers, which is why not every applicant will become a COPS dispatcher. The person handling your customers' alarms must have the right professional demeanor, temperament, and overall personality that is right for the job. Then, they must be thoroughly trained. This is precisely why our rigorous recruiting, hiring, training, advancement, and incentive tools were all designed over several years under the direct supervision of an industrial psychologist. The programs are continually refined to ensure that we only hire and maintain the very best people to serve you and your customers.
From a technology and systems perspective, not all UL-listed central stations are created equal. In addition to our three mainframes running our monitoring software at our headquarters, we have two more off-site redundant mainframes giving your data, and your company, an added layer of protection that other central stations just do not have.
Generations is our exclusive UL-Listed monitoring software written and developed by our in-house staff of programmers for over three decades. Unlike other central stations whose monitoring software is just a "part" of an off-the-shelf software package (monitoring, billing, service, etc.), Generations was developed with alarm monitoring as the core focus. Because we develop and maintain Generations ourselves, we are able to easily accommodate the next generation of emerging technologies and quickly tailor our system to the needs of our unique dealer base and their customers on the Pick operation system. For over 30 years, the Pick Universal Data Model (Pick UDM) has been synonymous with high-performance and reliability; providing the flexible multidimensional database infrastructure to develop critical transactional and analytical business applications. In addition to being a custom monitoring platform, the Generations application and subscriber data reside on FIVE redundant mainframes - all with RAID arrays (a storage technology that divides and replicate data among multiple physical drives) and deployed in geo-diverse locations.
